Message summary: ...mixed precipitation expected tonight and early thursday...
A low pressure system passing south of wisconsin tonight and early thursday will result in the development of light precipitation...especially after midnight through early thursday morning. At this time it appears...light rain...light freezing rain...sleet and some light snow are all possible. Warm air just off the surface has surged in ahead of the low...so until the low passes to our east there will be the potential for this mixed precipitation. Once the low passes there will be a changeover to a brief period of light snow. However little if any snow accumulation is expected. There is uncertainty in how much of the precipitation will actually fall as freezing drizzle so an advisory is not being issued at this time. If you have travel plans later tonight and early thursday use caution should you encounter any freezing drizzle.
